Overview

General Description

The felt drier consists of a row of rollers covered with absorbent felt, bottom rollers which press the water out of the felt again, and a motor which runs the arrangement. The machine can be delivered in models with different length and width.
The felt drier is intended for drying wet (washed) potatoes.

Function

The felt drier is always placed right after a position where the potatoes have been washed. The potatoes are transported to the felt drier, on which they are dried via the transportation across the rotating, felt covered rollers. The water from the wet potatoes is carried off underneath the machine either on an inclined plate underneath the entire machine or through a socket placed underneath the machine (intended for hose connection).
