Coil Cleaner
Overview
General Description:
The spiral cleaner is used for removing earth, tops, straw, and stones coming with the potatoes/onions into the machine. The machine has a total of 7 rollers. 2 rollers with rubber disks for careful handling of the product, and 5 infinitely variable rollers for sorting out of objects between 10 – 30 mm in diameter. Depending on the set distance between the spiral rollers (pos. 5), products and objects bigger than a given size will continue through the machine. This also goes for the few remnants of tops and straw. Sorted out objects fall directly through the machine and can be picked up.
The spiral cleaner is often placed right before an EKKO screen sorter, where it can be mounted right away.
